About Joanna Schwarz

I’ve always had a lot of interests. In addition to photography, my other passions include music, writing and volunteer work in the performing arts. My family and my garden give me a lot of joy!

On this website you’ll find original music, published choral arrangements, various short stories and photos of Sea to Sky Country, my garden and more.

My lifelong love affair with music has found expression through folk singing, teaching piano, songwriting and 30 years as a church musician. I'm in my 25th year as a Director for Howe Sound Performing Arts Association (HSPAA). Now in "retirement", I enjoy gardening even more. I also design postcards and photo cards for businesses along the Sea to Sky corridor. I'm working on, and keen to finish a comprehensive family history. You can find my photography at the Squamish Adventure Centre, the Sea to Sky Gondola and Britannia Mine Museum.
